​Hailing from the landscapes of the Mornington Peninsula, Folk & Blues recording artist-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Simon Trist, began hitting the ground running in the music realm in 2010 and since then has manifested into a versatile and multifaceted artist with his own signature sound and stylization.

Known for his eclectic style and dynamically crafted songs with Jazz additives, Simon’s music resonates with a sound that touches on equal parts originality and familiarity, giving his audience a taste of something fresh yet still identifiable. His ability on several instruments, including guitar, harmonica and banjo, have given him the breathing room to add very atmospheric touches to his songs with different elements that showcase his abilities at several angles. His music is also reminiscent of his artist influences that include recognizable names like Mark Knopfler, Donavon Frankenreiter and Paul Kelly among others. Since developing his craft and gracing the stage over the years, he has had the opportunity to perform at several prominent venues and events including opening for elite artist Mark Seymour, also performing at his own sold out shows.
